Maundy Thursday, April 5 - 6:00PM in the chapel (where we meet for worship). Service will include communion and the traditional stripping of the altar.

Good Friday, April 6 - 5:30PM in the sanctuary. There will be guest clergy, music by the Lindenwood choir and soloists.

This is an opportunity for us to worship with follow Christians and to show our appreciation for our temporary home at Lindenwood.

We are collecting items to support the "Room in the Inn" program operated in our former neighborhood by Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church. 

Items needed include:

New, in-package underwear and socks in adult sizes, particularly large and extra larege

New or gently used clothing in a variety of adult sizes

New or gently used shoes are also welcom

Bring your donations THIS Sunday. We will collect them and get them where they need to go!

The meeting will be in the chapel at Lindenwood and will immediately follow worship.

Beginning February 5, Faith transitions to our temporary home at Lindenwood Christian Church.

We will be meeting in the chapel which is located on the Parkway side of the building, behind the sanctuary. The most direct access is through the rear doors. There is one door that leads to stairs, and the entrance to the childcare area has a handicap access ramp.

There are two parking lots adjacent to the entrances. One is the parkign lot located driectly behind the church building, on the north side of the building. This area will fill up fast on Sunday mornings. Alternate parkign is available in the large lot along the Parkway side. NOTE - there is no vehicle access between the two lots. If you need to drop some one off at the entrance, you will have to drive back toward Union and go west through the parking lot.

We will begin with Fellowship Time in the parlor (just outside the chapel) at 10AM, and worship will begin at 10:40AM.

R. Scott Pricer, PhD has been hired as part-time minister of Faith Christian Church and his ministry begins with us - appropriately enough - Sunday, January 1, 2011.

Christmas Day worship will be a celebration of Christmas in song and words, as we sing carols, share meditations and hear relfections on the scripture and songs.

Rev. Johnny Wray, former director of Week of Compassion and local mid-south minister and now gentleman farmer will be filling our pulpit all four Sundays of Advent and on Christmas Eve!

What goes up must come down, and that includes the Advent/Christmas decoration.

We will be meeting to "de green" the church on Saturday, January 7 at 9:00AM.

Plan now to be there and help out!
